How We Verify Notifications
News-Views.in publishes government job notifications, results, admit cards and answer keys quickly — but speed is worthless if the facts are wrong. This page explains exactly how a notification reaches the site and how we keep it accurate.
Where notifications come from
- Official websites. We monitor the notice boards of central and state recruitment bodies directly — commissions, selection boards, police recruitment boards, railway and banking recruiters and other departments. New notices are read from the official page or PDF itself.
- Established job-news feeds. We also watch well-known notification feeds to catch announcements early, then trace each one back to the official source before linking to it.
What we check before publishing
- Official links only. The "Apply" and "Official notification" buttons point only to government or recruiting-organisation websites — never to another job portal.
- Facts come from the notice. Vacancies, dates, age limits, fees and eligibility are taken from the notification text. If a detail is not in the notice, we leave it out rather than guess.
- Verified badge. Pages marked "✓ Verified from the official website" were read directly from the recruiter's own website.
- No duplicates or filler. When the same recruitment is reported twice, we merge the pages and redirect the old address. We do not publish generic "latest jobs" round-ups or work-from-home schemes.
- Indian dates. Deadlines are calculated in Indian Standard Time, so a recruitment shows as closed as soon as its last date has passed in India.
How the pages are written
Summaries, frequently asked questions, step-by-step application instructions and Hindi translations are drafted with the help of AI tools from the official notice text, then checked by automated rules — official-domain links, dates in range, no figures that do not appear in the source. Preparation guides are written by our editorial team.
Updates and corrections
Recruiting bodies often publish corrigenda, extend last dates or change exam dates. When that happens we update the page; for example, when a corrigendum changed the number of posts in a railway recruitment, the page was corrected and duplicate listings with the old figure were merged into it. If you spot an error, please contact us with the link to the official notice and we will correct it.
Independence
News-Views.in is not a government body, is not affiliated with any recruiting organisation and never charges candidates a fee. Always confirm the final details on the official website before you apply or pay any fee.
