How these numbers are counted

Figures cover the recruitment notifications News-Views.in tracked from official websites and job-news sources since the start of the month (dates in IST; tracking began on 14 Oct 2026). A notice counts in the month (or week) it came out — its application start date when known — so a notification from September that is still open is not counted again in October. Results, marks lists and notices whose last date had already passed are not counted, and a big recruitment reported twice is counted once. Weeks before tracking began are incomplete and marked “partial”. "Posts" is the number of vacancies stated in each notice; notices that do not state a number are counted as notifications but add no posts. A recruitment open to candidates from several states is counted in each of them, so the state rows add up to more than the total. Duplicate reports of the same recruitment are merged. See how we verify notifications.
