What candidates should know

After the results are announced, candidates must check the scorecard carefully. It will indicate the marks obtained in each of the four papers along with the total marks and passing status. A minimum of 40% is required in each paper and 50% aggregate across all papers to pass the exam. Papers 3 and 4 are objective type and have negative marking.

If candidates pass the exam, they can proceed to register for the CA Intermediate level. In case of dissatisfaction with the marks received, candidates may apply for answer sheet verification shortly after the results. Those who do not pass can attempt the next exam. Candidates are also advised to keep their registration number and roll number handy as the result portal might experience high traffic immediately after the announcement.
