What candidates should know

After the PSTET 2026 result has been declared, those who qualify will receive a TET eligibility certificate valid for a lifetime according to NCTE guidelines. This certificate is essential for future teacher recruitment notifications issued by the Punjab Education Department. However, being qualified does not guarantee a teaching job; candidates must apply to specific recruitment notifications when they become available.

Candidates are advised to verify all personal information on their scorecard and report any discrepancies through the official portal. The minimum qualifying marks for different categories are generally established, but no detailed merit list will be published since this is a qualifying exam and not a recruitment exam.
